As a Camden native and an American professional basketball player for Kamza Basket, Brandon Rembert’s journey was never easy. Even through numerous adversities and injuries, his diligence and athleticism is unmatched. As a rookie in the Albanian Pira e Liga league, he brings his committed and competitive fire to the court on the offensive and defensive end. During the 2018-2019 season, as a senior in college, Brandon was recognized as the team’s top scorer and defender in NAIA DII. 

 

In 2013, Brandon tore his ACL and lateral meniscus which caused him to become a redshirt and miss his entire first season during his Freshman year.  He came back from his injury and won second team all-region while also being 8th in the country in steals on the Division II collegiate level. Brandon faced more misfortune and wasn’t able to play in the 2015-2016 season. Brandon decided to transfer to Rowan College Gloucester County, a community college in Southern New Jersey. Unfortunately, He was unable to finish the 2016-2017 season due to another injury on his lateral meniscus mid-season, but made Second Team All-Region 19 in NJCAA. Brandon transferred back to a 4-year institution, Fisher College, in Boston, Massachusetts. Throughout his Junior and Senior season at Fisher College Brandon won: Defensive Player of the Year, First Team All-Conference, First Team All-Defensive Team, and Second Team All-Conference. 

 

Off the court, Brandon shares his love and passion for the game of basketball by inspiring the youth and ones who feel like their only option is to give up. He has proven that is takes multiple adversities to make one stronger and by sharing his story as a testimony, he has found a meaningful way to give back to others and his community.
